Andrew Mears was born in Worcester and now lives in Newcastle Upon Tyne. He began writing poetry after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II creating a poem about her life. In the following months, he has written a collection of poems based on observations and his personal take on emotive subjects like homelessness, grief, loneliness and acts of kindness. His poems attempt to describe experiences we all face in life and where we currently are in the social network of friends and family. This is his first compilation.
